Seiya Matsushita is a pianist, vocalist, singer-songwriter, producer, and the founder of Pivo Music School. Born on February 12, 1998, in Kashiwa City, Chiba Prefecture, Japan, he began playing the piano at the age of five. During his high school years, he started composing and performing live at local venues.
In 2020, Seiya graduated from Kunitachi College of Music with a major in Jazz Performance and Composition. While still a student, he commenced his professional career, performing as a jazz pianist and vocalist at renowned jazz clubs, concert halls, and festivals across Japan. As a rare male jazz singer-songwriter, he has garnered significant acclaim.
As a music producer, Seiya supports artists by composing and arranging music, as well as creating and providing songs and lyrics for various companies. He actively engages in cross-genre collaborations across diverse industries. In his role as an educator, he offers lessons to a wide range of students, from beginners to advanced musicians, including professional artists. In 2020, he established Pivo Music School, an online institution where he serves as both director and instructor. Additionally, Seiya is a speaker, regularly hosting seminars and panel discussions. From April 2021 to February 2024, he worked as a radio personality, hosting three programs on Radio Narita.
In December 2022, Seiya released the duo vocal album “Ototayori” in collaboration with Grammy-winning saxophonist Yosuke Sato. In August 2023, he made his major debut with the leader album “Get on the Highway,” released under T-TOC RECORDS.

Lesson
While actively performing as a professional musician, Seiya also offers lessons. In addition to online and in-person private lessons, he conducts group classes and workshops. Based in Tokyo, he teaches students from around the world.
